It is with great pleasure to announce that Laneway Music will be releasing the John Meyer catalogue over the next 12 months.


John Meyer has an impressive musical history, having recorded with bands such as Fatty Lumpkin, Everest, Trilogy, and Saracen. After relocating from Perth to Sydney, he became a member of bands for Sharon O'Neil and Swanee. He was later invited to join Rose Tattoo for the Southern Stars album and toured extensively to promote this release. Additionally, he contributed several tracks to the Beats from a Single Drum release.


John's journey continued as he joined Matt Taylor's Chain, which spanned four years of his playing career. Following this, he decided to record solo albums, which will be the first six albums released by Laneway over the next six months. There are at least another six albums planned that will cover his early years, along with a collection of live material and live videos.

Blackfeather  are an Australian rock group which formed in April 1970. The band has had numerous line-ups, mostly fronted by founding lead singer, Neale Johns. An early heavy rock version recorded their debut album,  At the Mountains of Madness  (April 1971), which peaked at number seven on the  Go-Set  Top 20 Albums chart. It provided the single, "Seasons of Change" (May 1971), which was co-written by Johns with lead guitarist, John Robinson. In July 1972 a piano-based line-up led by Johns issued an Australian number-one single, " Boppin' the Blues " which went to number 1 on the Australian charts. Walking on Eggshells Jeff Duff is an Australian  performer in the  tenor  range, who in his career has used various personae, wardrobe, and satire as features of his performance. Duff's shows 'Ziggy' and 'Bowie Unzipped' are portrayals of the music of  David Bowie , who he met while Bowie was a Sydney resident.
